Cry Ministry

Crying in the Wilderness Ministry

Our Motto
“People do not care how much you know until
they know how much you care.” (John O. Anderson)

Mission Statement
“Crying in the Wilderness Ministry” exists to awaken The Body of Christ to unite, set aside their differences,
 be His witnesses and be light and salt to a dying world – proclaiming His entire love with a compassionate roar.

Vision Statement
Ref: A Compassionate Roar by John O. Anderson (2004) Bridge-Logos, Gainesville, Fl 32614
Imagine...
The Body of Christ showing their love for one another in such a way that the “world” would say, “See how they love one another.” (John 13:34; 15:12)
Imagine...
The Body of Christ being light and salt, boldly proclaiming the entire Word of God with a compassionate roar. (Amos 3: 7, 8; Matthew 5:13-16)
Imagine...
The Body of Christ boldly proclaiming the true love of an unchangeable and Holy God – His love, grace, justice, wrath, mercy, and judgment. (Ps 102: 26-28, James 1:17, Leviticus 11: 44-45, John 3:16; 14:6, Romans 1: 18-32; 6:23; 2:4, Hebrews 10:26-31)
Imagine...
The Body of Christ boldly proclaiming all parts of God’s message – sin, judgment, love, repentance and salvation through the Blood of Christ. (Ezekiel 33, Jeremiah 1)
Imagine...
The Body of Christ setting aside their differences and working in unity. (John 17:23)
Imagine...
The Body of Christ using the gifts given them by the Holy Spirit to do THAT which God has called them to do. (1 Corinthians 12-14; Ephesians 2:10)
Imagine...
The Body of Christ set free from the bondage of the law and walking in grace. (Romans 6)
Imagine...
The Body of Christ being willing to set aside their own agendas and the agendas imposed upon them by others and doing THAT for which they were created. (Ephesians 2:10)
Imagine...
The Body of Christ fulfilling the great commission without the hindrance of the traditions of men. (Colossians 2:8; Mark 7:8; Matthew 15:6)
Imagine...

SCRIPTURES WE BELIEVE THE LORD HAS
USED TO BIRTH THIS MINISTRY

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO LOVE THE WHOLE BODY OF CHRIST
JESUS DID NOT START A DENOMINATION

John 17:23
    I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and didst love them, even as Thou didst love Me.

YOU HAVE A PURPOSE
Ephesians 2:10
    For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED TO BE LIGHT AND SALT, TO TELL THE
 WORLD OF THE TRUE LOVE OF A HOLY GOD

Ezekiel 33:1-20
    And the word of the Lord came to me saying, [2] "Son of man, speak to the sons of your people, and say to them, 'If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman; [3] and he sees the sword coming upon the land, and he blows on the trumpet and warns the people, [4] then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head. [5] 'He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life. [6] 'But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.'
    [7] "Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth, and give them warning from Me. [8] "When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you shall surely die,' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand. [9] "But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your life.
    [10] "Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus you have spoken, saying, "Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we are rotting away in them; how then can we survive?" ' [11] "Say to them, 'As I live!' declares the Lord God, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?' [12] "And you, son of man, say to your fellow citizens, 'The righteousness of a righteous man will not deliver him in the day of his transgression, and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not stumble because of it in the day when he turns from his wickedness; whereas a righteous man will not be able to live by his righteousness on the day when he commits sin.' [13] "When I say to the righteous he will surely live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but in that same iniquity of his which he has committed he will die. [14] "But when I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness, [15] if a wicked man restores a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing iniquity, he will surely live; he shall not die. [16] "None of his sins that he has committed will be remembered against him. He has practiced justice and righteousness; he will surely live.
    [17] "Yet your fellow citizens say, 'The way of the Lord is not right,' when it is their own way that is not right. [18] "When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, then he shall die in it. [19] "But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and practices justice and righteousness, he will live by them. [20] "Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not right.' O house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his ways."

YOU HAVE BEEN SET APART
HE HAS EQUIPPED YOU
YOU ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE
Jeremiah 1:4-9
    [4] Now the word of the Lord came to me saying,  [5] "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations."  [6] Then I said, "Alas, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, Because I am a youth." 7] But the Lord said to me, "Do not say, 'I am a youth,' Because everywhere I send you, you shall go, and all that I command you, you shall speak.
[8] "Do not be afraid of them, For I am with you to deliver you," declares the Lord.
[9] Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me, "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

HE WILL PROTECT YOU
HE WILL SUSTAIN YOU
YOU CAN SPEAK WITH HIS AUTHORITY
Psalm 91:1-16
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
        Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
        [2] I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress,
        My God, in whom I trust!"
        [3] For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper,
        And from the deadly pestilence.
        [4] He will cover you with His pinions,
        And under His wings you may seek refuge;
        His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.

        [5] You will not be afraid of the terror by night,
        Or of the arrow that flies by day;
        [6] Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
        Or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.
        [7] A thousand may fall at your side,
        And ten thousand at your right hand;
        But it shall not approach you.
        [8] You will only look on with your eyes,
        And see the recompense of the wicked.
        [9] For you have made the Lord, my refuge,
        Even the Most High, your dwelling place.
        [10] No evil will befall you,
        Nor will any plague come near your tent.

        [11] For He will give His angels charge concerning you,
        To guard you in all your ways.
        [12] They will bear you up in their hands,
        Lest you strike your foot against a stone.
        [13] You will tread upon the lion and cobra,
        The young lion and the serpent you will trample down.

        [14] "Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him;
        I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.
        [15] "He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
        I will be with him in trouble;
        I will rescue him, and honor him.
        [16] "With a long life I will satisfy him,
        And let him behold My salvation."
