WILL YOU BE HIS WITNESS?
If not me and you - who? If not now
when?
Acts 1:8
“....but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon
you; and you shall be My witnesses ....”
The Holy Spirit gives the power to witness
Matthew 28:19-20
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, .... and lo, I am
with you always, even to the end of the age."
We are not alone as we witness in obedience to Christ
Mark 16:15
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to
all creation.”
The Church - you and I - are to go. Who else is there?
We are
the called out ones - chosen - set apart - redeemed - sanctified -
justified
THE COMMAND WAS GIVEN TO THE CHURCH -
YOU - THE BODY OF CHRIST
“THE ROMAN ROAD”
WHY DO WE NEED A SAVIOR?
WHO IS GOOD?
Romans 3:10-12
There is none righteous
Our righteousness is as filthy rags
WHO HAS SINNED
Romans 3:23
All - that includes you and I and everyone we come in contact with
GOD’S JUSTICE AND WRATH
THE ETERNAL COST OF YOUR SIN
Romans 6:23a & Romans 1:18a
Death - Eternal separation from God
Wrath of God
THE FUTILITY OF HUMAN EFFORT
NOTHING YOU DO CAN SAVE YOU
Romans 3:20a & Romans 3:27
The Law - “But I’m a good person.” - NO!
Good works - “I help others all the time.” - NO!
THE LOVE AND MERCY OF GOD
GOD’S LOVE HAS MADE A WAY
Romans 5:8-9 (John 3:16)
Christ shed His blood for sinners
YOU MUST PLACE YOUR FAITH IN JESUS
CHRIST
Romans 3:22; Romans 10:9; Romans 3:28
Confess and Believe - A Choice
Justification is by Faith
Ephesians 2:8-9
Salvation is by grace through faith - choosing to believe in the
“unmerited favor - free gift” of God
GOD WILL DO WHAT HE SAYS
IF YOU BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST ALONE
CAN SAVE YOU...
Romans 4:21
God said it - that settles it
PRAY AND ASK HIM
Romans 10:13; Romans 10:11
Talk to your Father (daddy) in heaven - His desire is that none should
perish
Do not be ashamed
CONCLUSION
We are all sinners and in need of a savior
We are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb - Jesus is the only way
We are justified by faith
We are saved by grace
We are called to be His witnesses
We are His instruments of righteousness
Will you allow The Holy Spirit to use you? Do you know anyone who has
not heard the good news?
